I would spend weeks on end, running up and down the shoreline fishing the piers for Panfish. One day I was sitting on the end of the pier when I was reeling in bluegills and a giant bass in the 5-6lb class, came up to the bluegill and tried to inhale it. Long story short the bass never got hooked, and my quest to fish for the biggest fish began!
My tournament career began after a career-ending injury that hindered my ability to wrestle. Filling the competitive void of wrestling was tough: until I found out how much fun and competitive tournament fishing is. As well as qualifying for club money and no less than 6th in the team of the year race in 3 out 3 tournament seasons. My favorite part of college fishing was it allowed me to take southern secrets back to my homebodies of water utilize them to cash checks and allow me to catch big-belly mommas.
